In this high energy class, kids really “play yoga” as we emphasize partner and group poses, and yoga games! We’ll help build strength and flexibility with more physically challenging postures and flowing sequences, while promoting self-confidence, connection and compassion. Kids learn to be kind towards themselves, others, and the importance of community through the practice of fun and challenging poses, yoga games, mindfulness activities, breathing techniques and calming exercises. Challenges and self expression is continuously encouraged but never forced. Class ends with time for deep relaxation. Class is 45 minutes.
